Tutorial on how to set up a scratch disk.

First Click on the Final Cut Pro icon

Step Two - Go to File, then click on New Project.

Step Three - If the middle window is missing you then need to go to Window - Arrange - Standard. 

Step Four - After the new window has popped up you then nee to click on FInal Cut Pro on the top left hand side - then you must go to System Settings.

Step Five - Set these three settings to your folder. 

Step Six - Now put your SD card into the slot, when it appears on the desktop click on it.

Step Seven - Drag the files you want to upload from your SD card and put them in your file on Macintosh HD 2.

Then upload them to Final Cut Pro and now you are ready to edit.
