Zoetrope - Growing Flower.

A Zeoptrope is a device which gives off an illusion of movement from a fast rotation of still images. It's made of a cylinder with slits cuts vertically in the sides. On the inside of the cylinder there is a band of a number of still images just underneath the slits. When you spin the cylinder you look through the slits and the still images which are there on the inside will look like they are moving. The slits on the cylinder keep the images from looking blurred when spinning.
Strengths of the Zoetrope are that you can make your own images and use them which can be a very fun activity. Another strength is that people find Zeotrope the very interesting as you can draw any still image to make it look like its moving.
A weakness in the Zeotrope is that there is only one motion happening and it is limited in the amount of motion you can have on one strip of paper. Also people who might not be the best artists in the world could find making their own images annoying as they cant draw extravagant images.
